Level 8 Intro to Double Consonants

Students continue using phonogram cards and magnets, games and writing activities to learn that letters can work together to make many different sounds such as ch in chin and sh in ship.

Level 9 Introduction to
Double Vowels

Students learn about double vowels, starting with the ones making only one sound like ee as in sheep before moving on to those making more than one sound, like ea as in beach, breath and steak.

Level 10 More Double Consonants

Students continue developing their knowledge of two (and more) letter consonants, including the letters of the alphabet that have two letter versions such as two letter f, ph, in phone.

Level 11
More Double Vowels

Students continue learning about double vowels as well as phonograms that are three and four letter versions of alphabet sounds, such as three letter i, igh and four letter a, eigh.
